You’ll see their illustrated character before the story is made. You can try another drawing or upload a different photo before approving it. You also see every page before you pay.
You upload a clear photo of the hero and choose a story. We draw them once in that book’s house style and ask whether it looks like them. If it doesn’t, we can draw it again twice, or you can send a different photo. Only after you say yes do we illustrate the pages, into a story written by people. You read the whole book free and approve it before anything is printed.
Their name, their age band, three things they love, and who else is in the book. You can edit the words on any page while you’re making the book, and change the cover text and the dedication right up until you order it.
Yes. See every page, edit the story’s words, and change the cover text and dedication before you pay. Once you place your order, the book is final and we can’t make changes.

A look inside

Saturday mornings belong to Sami and Baba. Sami crept in, climbed up, and tapped Baba on the nose. Baba snored louder, like a walrus with a cold. Then one eye opened, and a big hand reached out for a tickle.

Then the sky opened. Baba held one big coat over both their heads, and they ran for home through every single puddle, because you might as well. By the front door they were soaked to the socks and laughing.

Just before lights out, Sami whispered, 'I love you more than pancakes.' Baba thought about it. 'Even the ceiling pancake?' 'Even that one,' said Sami. 'More than puddles, more than piggybacks, more than all your terrible jokes put together.'
